epic queenstown tipi wedding | kaye + edward | feature film | nz

How do you accidentally blackout the whole of Queenstown?

Kaye and Ed. The Maori Princess and The Barb Wire Baby. That’s how.

Who knew metallic streamers and high voltage power lines weren’t a great mix?

Visually, Queenstown is a stunning location for a wedding. Particularly when the wedding is in a tipi on top of a mountain overlooking Lake Wakatipu!

But that wasn’t the most beautiful thing about this wedding. Not by a long shot.

It was the people man. Kaye and Ed. That monstrous smile. The energy!

This is the stuff that gets us excited.

Oh, and the helicopters help too.

Incredible Bali Clifftop Wedding | Pinky + Bobby | Feature Film | Uluwatu

Pinky and Bobby’s clifftop wedding in Bali was INCREDIBLE!

This was a 3 day extravaganza that has to be seen to be believed!

We started with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, before kicking into a roaring 20’s themed welcome dinner.

With exclusive use of the stunning Alila Villas Uluwatu, Pinky and Bobby had free reign to create the wedding of their dreams.

The team at Luxury Weddings Indonesia pulled out all stops, building a custom white aisle lined by cherry blossoms which lead to an insane floating stage for the ceremony.

This later turned into the dance floor, where Pinky and Bobby popped bottles well into the night!

Fireworks over the cliffs edge topped off an amazing few days of celebrations.

This was a party we won’t soon forget!

Preconceptions are a funny thing. As filmmakers, we try not to have them. About the couple, the location, the day itself.

We prefer a blank canvas. The chance to capture a story as it unfolds in front of us.

For Jack + Carly, theirs was a good old fashioned love story!

High school sweethearts, Jack + Carly wanted to return home for their wedding to show off all that they love about Tasmania.

And Freycinet is such a stunning example. Whilst the weather didn’t play along 100%, guests were still treated to a stunning ceremony at Freycinet Lodge – both outside and in!

Jack + Carly struck us with their gentle kindness, their sincerity and their blinding love for each other. These are our favourite stories to tell.

Here’s to the next 4,380 days.
